Open Studio Trauma
For The Long Night (an event in Liverpool where the majority of cultural organisations extended their opening hours and programmed events to a agreed date), Arena opened our doors for an open studio event. This can be translated as tidying up and most of the class being in attendance.
Arena has been a long standing champion of the open studio format, offering the public the chance to view the artist in their primal habitat. Where as this is an enjoyable experience for visitors for the home team, it can be deemed as traumatic. I deteste tidying my studio space.
