Install: Day 2
Sitting in the Hub at the Bluecoat stealing free wireless in the midst of day two of install for Remnants. Hannah and Keiron are in today so things have picked up with a photograph from Keiron framed and Hannah in the middle of constructing a shelf for her delicate yet forceful piece.
I have found the process of spatial consideration for my piece very enlightening. It’s not that often have the chance to experiment within a large space (ie not my studio). The work has evolved drastically over the last 48 hours. Now, it appears to be a minimalist vehicle, a considered piece with few overall components. This is quite opposite of my working style so I have found it hard to take a leap of faith so to speak…I guess I shall see if it is deemed a success or not.
