Advanced Laptop Studies
I have spent the last two weeks constantly writing but not actually writing much. I have been working intensely on an application. Won’t divulge any further at present. I am looking forward to getting some studio time very soon. In a positive step to break up this durational performance between me and my laptop, I have enrolled on a Advanced Screen printing course at the Bluecoat which started today. I wouldn’t call my screen skills ‘advanced’ at this stage but have been experimenting with processes. It reminded me of college, except without the teenage hormones everywhere and was actually fun.
On the agenda for next week, I am giving a talk to St Helen’s college Fine Art students next week. Always a good chance to press home to them the importance of throwing their proverbial oar into the mix whilst you can.
